What was your inspiration?
I wanted to use large HSTs in a charity quilt to make it come together quickly and wanted to try something different in the arrangement. Having four white triangles come together in the center looked rather boring to me, so I decided to do something different in just the center. I tried a few different things on paper before I decided that this extra treatment making it look like a star in the center would add interest in the quickest, easiest way.
