What advice would you give someone starting this project? I taught myself to crochet about a year and a half ago and was just making scarves and bowls. I received a gift certificate for Craftsy, so I took Stacey's Amigurmi Woodland Animals and Design Your Own Monster classes not knowing anything about crocheting stuffed animals and barely able to read a pattern! Thanks to Stacey Trock's great teaching skills and detailed pattern writing, I can now make the sweetest stuffed animals for friends and family...mainly my 11 year old daughter who calls dibs on everything I make : ) You don't have to have a lot of experience to make adorable stuffed animals, just give it a try!

Thanks so much! He is a gift for a little girl, but I am having such a hard time letting him go!

I can see why. Nicely done. I might have to make a similar one. :)
