What advice would you give someone starting this project? Ensure that you cut a good circle to begin with. You can a number of different ways: As shown in the video, using a large circular tray / dish or compass.

I found the video to make the circular ruffle on You-Tube pgh, if you go there and type in Molly Quest, the video tutorials will pop-up. Hope that helps.

I wanna know whether I can use the foot for making the narrow hem (complicated on curved shapes) or just like you said darn (remallar) and then sew folding 3mmm.? How did you sew the edge of these ruffles? Thank you

Hi Rose20-20, I'm old school, I prefer using my regular foot to produced this Pin Hem by folding over a 3-4mm hem, edge stitch, trim down to 2mm. Then turn 2mm and edge stitch again, but you alternatively you can use a Rolled hem foot. Hope this answers your question Mx
