What materials did you use? I made the quilt as is then cut 1.5 inch sides on the panels (instead of half) and added borders. I also edge stitched rather than ditch stitched the sashing. Next time I'll stitch the backs of the sashing and topstitch from the front so I can see what I'm doing easier. I didn't add the third layer on the medallion applique on every second one because I loved my fabric too much and wanted to see it. Lots of hooping but very quick and easily made.

If I buy this class do I have to buy the other materials? I am in Australia and it would be very expensive ro ship. Please advise thanks

I bought the fabric and batting from Spotlight (in AUS). I didn't use any of the gadgets/tools. I just used the line up marks on my hoop and made sure to put in the line up stitching in the design. Each time I had to shift it in the window on my machine's screen. Fiddly but worked. (I wasn't waiting for tools to be sent from US)

I am also in Aus. Melbourne. Not a quilter but machine embroiderer. Have designer diamond and 6d but don't know how to use it the quilt. Could I cope with it do you think? Have several other classes and found them very good. I am very tempted yet hesitant. Dorrie
