What was your inspiration?
The red yarn in my yarn stash. Thought this would be a good project that could be used at Christmas through Valentine's Day.
What are you most proud of?
The stitch consistency.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to knit the first and last stitch of each row to ensure that the finished piece lies flat. When joining more yarn I like to do it at the end of a row. This way I can weave the ends into the border and it is less noticeable.
