What was your inspiration?

A friend and I had taken our first hot air balloon ride on my birthday. Her birthday was coming up so when I saw this I thought it was the perfect little gift. I printed a mini envelope and letter paper and wrote her a note.

What are you most proud of?

That I learned three new things; how to make one of these ornaments, use fabric stiffner and about mini printables.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I found that the ropes from the basket to the balloon were very fragile after they were stiffened. It may have been just that my thread was really old but keep this in mind if you plan to make something like this.
