What was your inspiration?
My daughter and I have spent the last two years looking for the horse of her dreams. This quilt represents some of the horses we loved and lost along the way as well as the three who are a part of our hearts and family now.
What are you most proud of?
The piecing I did on the horses turned out so well. It ended up better than I hoped. Each horse represents a real horse we know and love and all their names are written in the quilting.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun! This will be a quilt that my daughter will have to remember her best friends with. Find what you love and remember it in fabric.
