What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try using the "split batting technique" taught by Ann Peterson in her class here on Caftsy. I could not have completed this quilt with out using that technique as well as the free motion and machine quilting classes offered here.

This Quilt is the result of all the quilting classes I have taken here on Craftsy.com. I put all the technique I learned from the following classes together in this one project. I used the split batting techniques I learned from Ann Peterson's class "Quilting Big projects on a home machine" as well as FMQ classes with Leah Day, Machine quilting classes by both Ann Peterson and Wendy Butler Burns. I used the piecing techniques I learned in classes with Amy Gibson BOM 2012 and Laura Nownes BOM 2013 as well as the"Color Play for Quilters" class by Joen Wolfrom all here on Craftsy. I Love these classes and these are the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from.

Nice! I find lots of crossover from all of the classes too. They do work together in concert to increase skill and give your vision reality.
