What was your inspiration?

My g-kids inspire me. They asked for a special beach towel.

What are you most proud of?

This is very custom for Livvy. Our favorite beach is a tiny island in Cohasset Harbor so she is my Island Princess. I put a princess crown on the lobster as tribute to her Dad's lobster business. These colors really look well together. Sequined fabrics make everything POP!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just have fun with it. This will get washed alot so get the seams tight. I glue as well as sew.

I wish you could have taken a picture with your grandchild wearing this so you could show off the towel but more importantly your grandchild modeling it.

Don't be afraid to play with color. This lobster is purple & pink. It is a princess, after all!
