What was your inspiration?
I saw a presentation in speech class on how to press flowers. I shopped online for a flower press, and I was annoyed at how expensive they were. I had some leftover plywood from a previous project, so I decided to make my own. With help from my Dad, I have my own flower press, built to my specifications! So easy! And inexpensive!
What are you most proud of?
That I came up with my own design, created it out of materials I already had, and built exactly what I wanted. Easy, inexpensive, and Eco-friendly.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just go for it! I took a scratch piece of paper, wrote down what I wanted, measured it out on the wood, and got going.
