I bought the yarn thinking it was DK and so my pattern would not work. so I knit a tension swatch and then using info in this course worked out the number of stitches and rows . I really didn't have the amount of wool I needed so improvised. I've been knitting for 60 years but this is the first time I've worked out my own pattern using the Norwegian colour charts. This sweater was knit on circular needles. The sleeves were knit from the top down.
