Instructions

I sketch a drawing of the subject matter then enlarge it on freezer paper and make a pattern from there. I then number each piece so it can be assembled exactly how I drew it. Then the quilting begins. I like to heavily quilt my pieces but it is a personal thing as to how you quilt it.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Whimsical

Materials

cotton fabric

What was your inspiration?

this is my daughters German Shepherd. She was out was walking the dog and went to cross a street when a car approached them and the dog stepped in between the car and my daughter so she didn't get hit. Needless to say the dog is very special.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of capturing the dogs personality and using lots of colors to create her.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

take one step at a time, it is like putting a puzzle together.
