What was your inspiration?

Ester's Blog was my inspiration. I took her pattern and ran with it, tweaking the colors and type of yarn used.

What are you most proud of?

I enjoyed how this project looks more difficult than it was to make. I love the organic look of this project and how easy it is to change it by just using different colors and gauge size. I also and proud that I was able to recycle yarn that had glue dripped onto it making it impossible to make anything else but rosettes with.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The roses are so much fun to make, I recommend making green roses also. In my picture you can see that I have green rosettes and green leaves. I also made the back/behind wreath wider and I just used some foam I had around the house. If you have crocheted before this is a fun and fast project. If you have never crocheted it is not a difficult pattern, but you will have to make a lot of decisions on size of leaves. If this is your first time use a bigger thread and it will go fast, but still look good. If you have crocheted before try this pattern with a smaller needle and you will have some very pretty leaves. Multiple color greens looks very cool.
