This is so sweet, as is the star... would that be the giant star off Missouri too? Love their videos and love your little quilts! Well done and in time to enjoy for Christmas too!

Thank you, Pam. The star came from a pattern in a book. It was easy but I don't know how many times I had to take the triangles apart because I kept putting them together incorrectly. Sometimes I am just too impatient.

This is so pretty & fresh! It looks like your quilting lines are wavy, did you use a special stitch? I love it, so whimsical!

Thank you, Meredith. I just used a serpentine stitch on the sewing machine. I'm no very good at free-motion quilting on the sewing machine and find the serpentine stitch is a way to make stitches show.

Cool, thanks for the reply! Yes, me too on free motion, I'm too impatient to practice! I like piecing & then I have a completed top & have to come up with some quick easy quilting!

Meredith, the class where I gained a lot of confidence was Magical Jelly Roll Quilts. The instructor had a lot of great ideas that were easy enough for me to attempt. Good luck on your quilting. Remember the key to it all is to have fun!

Great, thanks Arlene! I'll check that class out! Yes! FUN!!!! :) I have to stop looking at the quilting part as a means to an end! Hah! Happy new year!

I think you did a good job. I saw a tutorial from the Missouri Quilt Company on YouTube for the disappearing four patch. I'm working on one right now. I like how it looks really complicated, unless you know the secret!

Thanks, Penny. I am always surprised how blocks are made buy putting together, cutting apart, and putting together again. Love the tutorials on MSQC!!!

This is lovely I have been doing the disappearing 9 patch with quilts and cushions... now after seeing this gorgeous quilt top I really want to make disappearing 4 path blocks:)

Thanks, Desna. Go for it. You can make the quilt as big or as small as you want and it's even fun!

This is so pretty, as is your table mat! You did a wonderful job!
