Thanks for all the nice comments and hearts. I gave it to a friend of mine who's a Sister in S. Korea and she really liked it. Knitting is the best hobby ever!

How much yarn does this project use? I have approximately 400 yards of Andulsia yummy yarn and would like to make a shawl.

The shawl's designer says 430 - 450 yards. I had a bit left using a 435 yard hank but I'm a rather tight knitter. Just my opinion but I go for more than 400 yarns to be on the safe side.

I don't have a video but here's a link to the Holden Shawlette KAL blog entries on Craftsy. You can start with the bottom entry (Aug 5, 2011) and work up. http://blog.craftsy.com/category/knitting/holden-knit-along/ You'll still need to read up on charts though. YouTube has a few videos on reading knitting charts. I hope you find the info that you need.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the idea of a smaller size that looks similar to a scarf. Thanks for sharing!
