I used the curved top bag as a starting point and extended the handles so it is more of a hobo shape. I also added an exterior pocket.

I was going to ask the same thing. Also, was the leather hard to sew? What weight/kind did you use? Finally, what sewing machine did you use?

I did make them. They aren't perfect close up, as I don't have an industrial machine. Next time I will attach them with rivets rather than trying to sew through all the layers.
