What was your inspiration?
I've seen similar bags for sale at fairs and fleamarkets, but they were made in Mexico or other places. I wanted something that was brights, fun and functional for myself and to sell. I include a pocket on the inside that will accomodate a set of keys or a cell phone. This helps them from not falling to the bottom of this deep purse.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud that I designed this myself and that I've had so many happy customers!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's make from only 4 different pattern peices and is pretty easy to figure out if you want to do so yourself.
1- main bag (includes handles as one peice)
2- bottom (oval shap)
3- pocket
4- loop for button closure
