What was your inspiration?
My husband was in Afghanistan for 8 months and I wanted something cute and red to wear to his homecoming with a blue and white polka dot dress that I found at Target.
What are you most proud of?
I love the necklace. It turned out so cute and added just the right punch of red to the outfit.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I think the necklace would have worked just a little better if I'd found a ribbon that was two sided. As is, it gets twisted and the polka dot side doesn't always stay facing out.
