I drilled the small pieces of beach glass with my drill press using a 2mm drill bit. I then took silver coated copper wire..24 gauge and placed a clear bead at the bottom and used round nose pliers and then curved the wire into a circle. I then threaded the peace sign and hen the glass pieces and one more clear bead on to the wire. Finally I used the round nose pliers to make a loop at the top and wrapped the wire around tightly. I took the earring wires ( bought from JoAnns..sterling silver) and opened the loop up with the needle nose pliers and then placed the project onto the earring. :)
When using drill press and drilling glass..you need lots of water, lots of practice and great drill bits. I have broken many bits tryingn to find the right ones and broken more bech glass than I care to admit :(
Also to prevent a blow out on the other side of the glass..I always drill part way and then flip the glass and drill until thru..this makes a nice smooth perfect hole.
