What was your inspiration?
These socks were originally created for the Biscotte & Cie sock club. They were inspired by a "hippie girl" theme and the super-bright and funky yarn.
What are you most proud of?
It was a lot of fun to design a sock pattern incorporating a fun theme and yarn with so much colour and character. Both theme and colours stretched my comfort zone and I love the results!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Jump right in and learn some new techniques... slipped stitch colourwork, crochet embroidery and duplicate stitch.
