What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make a cute gift for preschool and early elementary children. I love to use up my fleece scraps from other projects making these free style monsters. But, most parents are completely sick of getting more stuffed animals. I decided to make it into a game. You hide the animal and the rest of the family has to find it. Also, you have to put it away when you are finished which helps teach preschoolers a valuable lesson about cleaning up.

What are you most proud of?

I designed the labels and the instructions myself and you can download and print them on our blog.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make several and keep them for birthdays and upcoming events.

I love this idea! The fact that you're getting to use leftover pieces is great, too! I especially like the game part, where the kids are learning and the whole family can get involved! Way to go!
