If you don't have coordinating thread on head to join the hexis GO BUY IT. My whip stitches show and now I need to go back and applique to cover them up once I buy the right thread. Made more work for myself.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Another member suggested I pull some solids to help tone down the business that's been building to date. Also I've seen some two color work in the Project Gallery I really like. Finally, I'm a math nut. Hence the geometric design.
What are you most proud of?
Thought its hard to see in my amature photo the strips in the mauve fabric actually spiral out from the center hexi. This lends to the overall affect of spinning I was going for. Also, I found another way to use one of the cats in my original fat quarters!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
