What materials did you use? The fashion fabric is a wool / polyester blend in a very small herringbone pattern. (This doesn't show up well in the digital photos.) The lining is a black rayon / polyester blend.

What are you most proud of? I'm proud that I stuck with it and took my time to do the best job that I could.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My advice echos that of many others: watch & re-watch the lessons, take your time and do not rush. Enjoy the sewing process.

Thank you so much!

Beautifully done! Love the neck line piping, too!

Thank you! Adding the piping was even more work, but I'm glad I took the time.

Thank you! This was my first adventure in couture sewing & I loved it.

Love the piping! And it looks like you did the midriff in two pieces instead of 6--good idea! Enjoy wearing it --it looks terrific on you!

Thank you! I actually used 4 midriff pieces (2 in front, 2 in back). I tried unsuccessfully to just use 1 piece in the front but that didn't work out with the herringbone pattern in the fabric. Luckily I had enough fabric to recut those midriff pieces. :)
