This was quite simple. I just printed out black and white old photos of my family members (sized to fit the bead). Lightly coat the back of the picture and place on the bead, carefully working out bubbles. Cover with a few coats of the Modge Podge, letting each coat dry fully. What was your inspiration?
I was at a craft expo and saw similar bracelets on wood beads with famous entertainers and cartoon characters on them. We've recently had several losses in the family and I thought this would make a really nice gift to honor those family members.
What are you most proud of?
I was able to make a bracelet for several cousins using photos of their family members, which made each one very personal.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Really let each coat dry fully. I also worked one side at a time.
