What was your inspiration?
lionbrand has lots of free amigurumi patterns. I can't seem to find this one, but hopefully it's still there.
What are you most proud of?
I just think it's cute. I made this for a friend of my daughter going off to college...now whenever my daughter has a friend going away, she asks me to make something. I take that as a compliment. I don't like how the eyes came out...I've gotten better since then.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I should have used a smaller hook so my stitches would be tighter...I don't like seeing the stuffing. Overstuff your amigurumi, or it will get too flat and floppy over time. That's okay if that's what you're going for, though. But if you want it to retain shape, then jam that stuffing in there!
