Hello Kitty fabric and blenders from a local private quilt shop.

What was your inspiration?

I found the brick work pattern on Craftsy and saved it for when I got fabric I enjoyed. I got some awesome HK fabric and matched it with green. It turned out better than I thought!

What are you most proud of?

The fact that the lines all line up. Trust me, with the way my hands shake and the fact I am constantly distracted by my 21 month old son, it was a miracle.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Keeping those lines straight is your main goal, so keep that iron hot and to keep your seams aligned. Otherwise, it won't look right.
