I also used the Super Simple Baby Booties pattern from Annie's Attic.Difficulty:

Type of item: Clothing
For: Children
Style: Classic, Cute, Traditional
Materials
Red Heart's TLC Baby in white and Patton's Baby Fingering Yarn in white, little flowers, some ribbon, and three buttons.
What was your inspiration?
My brother's sister-in-law asked me to make her a coming home outfit for the baby she was expecting. Though she asked for a two-piece pants and top set, I fell in love with this dress and made it but also gave her a long-sleeved onesie and tights and booties to keep her baby warm.
What are you most proud of?
That I finished it all in two days! lol. Actually, it was more like 1.5, but who's counting; right? Everything but the booties was even washed and dried.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Buy Heather's patterns! No, I am not in any way affiliated with her nor am I receiving any monetary gain from her for recommending her patterns. Once you get used to altering the patterns from UK terminology to U.S. terminology, they are very easy to follow, clear and concise. I also recommend Shifio's. She also has beautiful patterns.
