What was your inspiration?

The fabrics! I wanted a tradtional pattern with a non tradtional twist. Love these stars!

What are you most proud of?

The accuracy of the paper piecing fascinates me. Really love the colors.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the directions a number of times to be sure you understand the process.

Your quilting is beautiful, and I really love that variegated thread! It's fun that you showed a picture of the minkie on the back, too! What a wonderful quilt!

A question... any suggestions on quilting thread color? I was thinking blue on the black sections, but not sure about the stars.

Those borders add the perfect frame - particularly love your crazy scrappy border - your colors are fabulous!

Thank you. I was a little concerned that the border was too bright, overshadowing the stars. I like it though. I am very visual and tactile; I figured I would make the stars and see how all the colors came together. I really learned a lot with this project. THANK YOU for doing this online course. I love it.
