Instructions

From one ball of Sugar'n Cream and a 28 by 17 inch kitchen towel, you will be able to make 2 full patterns. :)

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Retro / Vintage, Cute, Whimsical, Romantic, Casual, Classic

Materials

1- 28 by 17 inch kitchen towel cut in half (so its 2 - 14 by 17 towels, and I did a quick hem on the cut side which is the same side where you knit) 1 ball Sugar'n Cream (or other 100% cotton worsted weight yarn) that coordinates with the towel.

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration was the cat print on the towel itself. We have two cats and love them dearly. The heart lace kind of shows off that love.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of finishing my first lace piece, and that it will be used by everyone here.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time with this if you're new to lace. This is my first lace piece and all the yarn overs threw me for a loop for the first few rows of YO's. lol
