What was your inspiration?
I plowed through my scraps from previous projects in search of something I could use to make my daughter a mug rug for Valentine's Day. This was the result. It's such a simple project that I quickly made two more to give to a couple of very dear friends. I think I'm on a mug rug roll - such a fabulous way to use those bits and pieces that are too small to use in a quilt,, yet too large to throw away.
What are you most proud of?
I love the rays of color spreading out from the heart and setting it aglow! This would be fun in any color combination for any occasion or for no occasion at all. Hearts are always wonderful.
Since I'm saving the pattern for later use, I thought it would be fun to share with all of you.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you're going to pepare a pattern to put up on Craftsy and you have a deadline, DO NOT get carried away with cleaning the keyboard on your laptop!! This was supposed to have gone up last week, but the very clean computer was in the shop getting a brand new keyboard installed. Sigh...
