What materials did you use? THE baby's mother picked out a panel from my huge collection. I am going to select coordinating / blending fabrics from my stash ... ( mostly traditional fabrics) ... then I am going to try to design a quilt to reach the size of 50 x 50 inches. I am not sure you will be able to call it modern but it will use SOLID fabrics, probably have an asymmetrical border. I keep playing with various ideas.... THE MOST CURRENT ... solid green / white piano border with pinwheels embedded in the border. Not sure if will be centered or totally off center. Keep playing with ideas... ... MY thoughts are posted on my blog. I am posting here because this is the only design class I have taken ... I am trying to apply some of the lessons I have learned in this class... I just could not buy all new fabrics to make the quilt.

The colors chosen work well together. Nice!
