What materials did you use? Recycled Hawaiian print shirts, shorts, and scrap fabric from other sewing projects

What are you most proud of? While I had many ideas on how to tackle this quilt, I simply needed to make a decision and go for it. Once I started, I never looked back and was happy with every step. I absolutely loved taking this course and being able to quilt it at home.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just start and enjoy. Some weeks I sewed as little as 20 minutes, some weeks for hours. Since I am lucky enough to have a sewing room, this project was always out and easily accessible, so even 20 minutes of sewing meant getting a fair amount done.

This is gorgeous... my husband and I went to Hawaii last year and it was fabulous, he even bought a shirt! Maybe some day I might get to cut it up and put it into a quilt:) Great inspiration thanks.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love how the black sashing sets off the bright colours! Job well done!
