What was your inspiration?

I just saw a pattern that I liked.

What are you most proud of?

Getting all those beads with the too tiny holes onto the edging.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is not a hard pattern as far as lace knitting goes. It's on the small side and I added two extra repeats before the edging to enlarge it. If you want to add beads, don't buy long ones with tiny holes. :) I set myself up for quite a struggle because I just had to have THOSE beads. It took 3 1/2 tubes of beads and they just on the leafy edging to give the thing some weight when you toss it over your shoulder.
