Styrofoam Cone, Styrofoam Egg, fabric, ribbon, doilies, straight pins, brown nylon, doll eyes, eyelashes, doll hair/braid, hot glue, scissors.

What was your inspiration?

Ten years ago, my daughter had a school project to make something about Harriet Tubman. We went to the craft store and it just developed from there.

What are you most proud of?

I had absolutely nothing to go from. We just walked through the store and bought things that might work. This is all made with pins, hot glue, and supplies. It's been sitting on a shelf for ten years...so it's starting to show it's age, but we love it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I definitely took this project over from my daughter...she was in third grade. I think her teacher knew...bad, bad mommy!
