What was your inspiration?

Jinny Beyer's class diamonds gallore. I took it last march when she came. I started two hand making process, the other one is already posted. Same figures, completely different results.

What are you most proud of?

The frames almost match

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I made a handmade quilting crossing the points. NEVER DO IT, you have to pass at leas 4 fabrics and it is very heavy...

I made one of the baby block quilts a very long time ago. I ran across the pattern and was wanting to make one. You have inspired me to start one. I love both of your quilts, nice job.

Love both of these, but the colors in the tumbling blocks quilt sing to me. I'm very much afraid of tackling diamonds. Bringing those points together is such a headache that I simply avoid them. Triangles are more than difficult enough for me.

Don't be afraid, you just mark where the 1/4 inch lines cross, you pin them and sew until those points, and it is done, that's all its a great project for on-the-go hand sewing and for scraps
