You will need U.S. #7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles for knitting in the round. U.S. #3 (3.25mm) knitting needles, Medium worsted weight yarn in pink, green, and rose Tapesty needle/yarn needle.
This pattern has been designed for knitting in the round only. You will also need to know some basic knitting skills...casting on, casting off, increase, decrease, etc.
