I do have plans for tutorials for both the ring and the pendants, but they are a down a bit on my list. I have about 7 that i've promised to do before these.

I love your pieces. Do you have any idea where I could find the prosthetic eyes?

Hi Klitzow - for the real prosthetics, you will have to try a google search - I sadly don't have a vendor for them anymore. Also try Ebay, and a search for "glass eye". If you like the "doll eyes" like the gold and green pendant, you can get those at VanDykes Taxidermy - they are on the net. Hope that helps - See ya ~Bobbi :))

What a cool idea! Just curious -- are prosthetic eyes expensive to buy?

Thank you Mandy! When I started using these about 15-20 yrs ago, they weren;t all that bad - about $15. each. Now - if you can find the real prosthetics, even on EBay they run about $35 to $50 each and that's wholesale. You can get a decent quality "doll eye" from VanDyke's Taxidermy for around $8 to $10 each depending on the size - but they don't have the veins in them. With those (the doll eye's) I don't know what creeps me out more - that they are so realistic, or that they come from a taxidermist. O.o

I am not sure that I care much for the eyes. However, your wire work is AWESOME! It (eyes) is a fun idea for Halloween!

Thank you very much Fox!! I know they don't appeal to every one, and I'm okay with that, but I really appreciate your opinion of my wirework!!!!!

Bobbi, It is wirework like yours that I desire to be able to be as good as. OMG, I am envious of your talent with wire!!!! I am just getting started, and I have a massive supply of copper wire in various sizes. have you written any (free) tutorials? Or any particilar projects you would suggest for a beginner in wire work. When i grow up I wanna be just like you! ::: giggles :::

LOL SewMom :)) I think they are yummy Halloweeness too - but amazingly enough, I sell more 'eyeball' pieces outside of Halloween, than because of Halloween. i just get a kick out of people's reaction when they look down and realize what my ring is *grin*.
