Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

This project is suitable for beginners and also advanced quilters. Beginner will learn whole lot of new techniques. It does not require all your weekends to finish this bom.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Cute, Traditional

Materials

Cotton quilt fabrics for top. Cotton sateen for back, Westfalenstoffe Eko Cotton for batting

What was your inspiration?

Thank You so much Amy and all participants! It was so fun project I enjoyed this all year, always waiting for next months pattern and lessons. I made this all scrappy. Some blocks I changed to something else. For example, I just finished bigger spiderweb quilt top, so I made other block instead of it. Quilting is almost all machine quilting. Added some hand quilting and embroidery details to some blocks.

What are you most proud of?

Lightbulb moment: ric-rac for sashing!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go for it, Amy has so clear and friendly teaching style, you will be sewing these blocks in no time!
