What was your inspiration?
My son's birthday. Since his birthday is just after Christmas it isn't always that celebrated of an event, so I wanted to do something special for him. My daughter, my mom and I sat around cutting out triangles, letters and sewing one afternoon to get this ready for the party.
What are you most proud of?
He really liked that we had done something special for him...and it looks fun, too. We'll use the Happy Birthday part for everyone and make each family member their own name banner throughout the year.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just do it! It's simple and fun.
