What materials did you use? Cotton fabric, 80/20 batting, variegated thread

What are you most proud of? The quilting - and that I used 20-year-old fabric from my stash for the backing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Big prints hide many miscues in free motion quilting!

IT'S BEATIFUL! using the same floral print all-over doesn't make me dizzy, as so many moderns do. As a true beginner to quilts and machine quilting you have given me great inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing. I especially love the fabric! :) lenten rose

Thanks! Simple can definitely still be beautiful. Have fun! I was in your shoes not long ago.

Really, really, pretty! What a fun baby quilt idea!

In some ways it really is too bad the print hides your quilting - from the detail shots, it really looks good!

Thanks, Ann. Next time, I'll be braver. The recipient isn't a quilter, so the quilting would be wasted on her anyway. I had great fun planning and practicing
