Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Stupendous Stitching: Adventures in Surface Design »

Instructions

It helps if you know how to embrioder. But you can learn as you go.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Women

Style: Religious

Materials

100 % cotton and other material I hope to make a quilted cloth for my kitchen table with it, when I figure out how I want to do that.

What was your inspiration?

The class I am taking and other peoples work. It does look nice.

What are you most proud of?

That I finished the handy work, while on coffee breaks at work. This is also the first time I have made French Knots and they look great. The repeat button came in handy while I was learning French knots.
I still need to quilt this piece and probly put a boarder on it (something simple as not to take away from the handy work.).

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the class and take your time. It is fun to do over a longer period of time with no dead lines. I had forgotten how much I enjoy embrodering.
