I totally agree! And not bad for not having a tortilla press. HA! I use a glass casserole dish to press down so I can see through the dish and the plastic. They turned out pretty good. :)

Thanks for the glass casserole tip! Going to try it tonight. Would love a press, but as much as I love cooking small kitchens here in Northern Cal. Ha!
