Materials

Handspun Angora Rabbit blended with Merino Wool and Silk about 6 oz or 330 yds.

What are you most proud of?

It is handknit from some yarn that I spun specifically for this little sweater. I blended together some Angora rabbit fur with Merino wool and a little silk. I thought that the juxtaposition of the shiny strong silk with the matte haloed softness of the angora gave the sweater an ethereal quality. The special combination of fibers makes this sweater soft and cozy, very warm as well as durable and lasting, not to mention beautiful.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This yarn feels so amazing in the hands you will be sad when the project is finished.

Yes, it would be an advanced beginner, I guess. It requires very little concentration once you get past the armholes as its knit from the top down. I have several really nice designs that I'm going to write up this winter. I'll keep you posted here and on Etsy .thanks so much for the comment.
