Hand Warmers

Instructions

Cut 2 pieces of fabric 4.5 by 5.5 inches. Put right sides together and stitch around 3 of the sides. Turn right sides out. Put 1/2 cup of rice in the fabric. You can add cinnamon or other scents if you desire. Stitch the 4th side shut and you are done!

What was your inspiration?

These are stocking stuffers for the men in my life. Many of them are outside in the cold either snow blowing, plowing, hunting... and I figured they could use hand warmers to stay warm.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

These are very easy and cute. I printed the phrase out from a picture online, tied them together with the phrase for a nice presentation of the hand warmer.
