What was your inspiration?
I wanted a thick and thin yarn plied with some sparkly ribbon I've been holding onto for a while. I hand dyed some wonderful soft merino/ silk blend roving in one of my favorite colors. Loved the way it turned out. I'm going to make a smooshy hat with it.
What are you most proud of?
It turned out exactly the way I wanted.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time. If you've never spun before, predrafting your roving is a great way to cut down on your work and it also helps to keep your yarn even.
