I learned to hand quilt first, nothing like this of course, now I am machine quilting. Nothing beats hand work yours is so beautiful, it is breath taking.

Thank you for you lovely kind words, as a first attempt I am very pleased with the outcome, I'm in the process of attempting to machine quilt 2012 BOM but struggling with my little sewing machine, but there's a determination there to finish it no matter what, I just love sewing.

Beautiful! My hand quilting friends use low loft batting to minimize unwanted puffiness. I kind of like the puffiness. It's almost trapunto.

Thank you, I'd never thought of the trapunto effect, but now you mention it.
