Thank you for you lovely kind words, as a first attempt I am very pleased with the outcome, I'm in the process of attempting to machine quilt 2012 BOM but struggling with my little sewing machine, but there's a determination there to finish it no matter what, I just love sewing.

I love machine quilting but if I could quilt like this, I certainly would add it to my list. Beautiful!!!

Thank you Betsy-Boo, I've still got to try my hand at machine quilting last years BOM, it's all sandwiched but I am feeling a little daunted about doing it. I really enjoyed learning Andi's hand quilting techniques, but I don't think I could hand quilt a king-size quilt!

You should be proud of this! The puffiness is due to the batting, most likely. Try pinning the piece to the ironing board and hold a steaming iron over it (without pressing down on it) to reduce the wrinkles. If you pin it down, you can also square it up nicely.

Thank you Andi, I'll try what you've advised, should I try a 2oz wadding next then? I can't wait to start the next hand quilting project, thank you Andi for sharing your expertise with us , I love Craftsy it's keeping me so busy it's wonderful.

I'd be the first to admit it's not perfect, but I'm proud of my achievement :) Would appreciate any suggestions on how to remove the creases and wrinkles, don't think I'm supposed to iron it or can I?
