Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: My inspiration for this cake was sheet of a two sided themed scrapbooking paper with this design on it. I also blended inspiration from the other side of the paper as well. The teapot is all cake made from a circle/ball cake pan and the lid, spout and handle was made of gumpaste. I cut the top of the cake off and used that for the lid. I painted the teapot with gel colors mixed with vodka. The scrolling was done with royal icing. Cake was for a little girl's elegant teaparty-themed birthday.

What are you most proud of? That it looked like the scrapbooking paper and that I was able to give it the layered and textured look that scrapbooking paper has.

Stunning! It looks so real. Now I'm off to check out your other creations.
