Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: My inspiration was from the pitcher I bought for a friend and made a cake to match it for her birthday. I made my own marshmallow fondant and free hand painted the flowers with gel colors mixed with vodka.

What are you most proud of? That it turned out like the water pitcher :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to paint! I always practice with various colors of fondant along with several shades of a color so I can see what will look best. Make them big enough so that you can see various shades of petal/luster dust and you'll see some gorgeous colors come to life!
