Thanks Barbie Jo. You should definitely have a go at making your own cards. When I first started (many decades ago), I used to "remake" the cards that we recieved - making them into new cards. This is fun too - and a great recycling project.

Sorry, I don't really have detailed instructions, but hoping you can get inspiration from the photos on the blog post.

I don't understand. If this was a "free" pattern, where is it. I moused on the "By Designer free" box above which lead me to the website. All I found was Boxed Sets that cost $10.00 and up.

Sorry, it's not so much a 'pattern' for this one as link to a blog post where there would be more information or photos for ideas. I think you must be seeing the Etsy links along the side if you are seeing things for sale.

I was looking for the pattern free by designer also. Would like to make these, not buy them.

This would be a great project for our Brownies to try.

Absolutely! I'm sure they'd have fun making their own cards. I use contact cement when adhering the papers for a nice smooth finish, but to simplify for the brownies you may want to use peel and stick photo mounting squares. Much less mess and the job will be done more quickly. Enjoy!

While I agree with you about making with Brownie's, just know that it always takes a little longer with little one's. I have juniors and I always think oh we can get 3 or 4 projects done in 1 1/2 hours and all we really get done is about one project and a huge 'ol mess!

Classes are great for inspiration and confidence! Then, just listen to your inner artist - we all have one ;)
