Fabulous luxurious crepe de chene silk and french dyes
What was your inspiration?
I love color and pattern. I love to try to duplicate the delicate petals and leaves of nature. Fall colors of rich chocolate brown, apricot and yellow all come from the trees around me.
What are you most proud of?
My silk has been juried into several big shows in northeastern ohio, including the Textile Art Alliance of the Cleveland Museum of Art
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Dive in, don;t worry about perfection and realize that when you are done you have created a unique one of a kind hand dyed silk scarf
